John and Dean from Direct Line Sales would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend another one of our educational days to help you expand and improve your position in the marketplace.

As promised at our Educational day last April, this event will focus on Rodents and Wildlife. We are pleased to announce that John Schwerin from Bell Labs will be presenting on Rodent Biology and Control Strategies. Dean Stanbridge has developed a new talk on Challenging Rodent Situations in Commercial Accounts. We will also have Mike Givlin, V.P. of Steritech’s Wildlife Division presenting on Effective Wildlife Control Strategies and Tim Croll from Monzi Corp. to launch the sales and marketing for our new Product Line “Leaf Defier”. John Howlett will once again MC the event and bring us up to speed on new products that D-Line has been working on to bring to you.

Since our focus is to educate our clients that support our business, D-Line clients will only pay a minimal charge of $30.00 per person (Non-current D-Line Clients will be charged $75.00). This will include coffee in the morning and a buffet lunch.

Due to the overwhelming response from our last events we’ve decided to move into a larger room that will accommodate more displays and people but we still have limited space so sign up quickly. If you’re already a Direct Line client, just sign up and we will bill your account. For non clients, we take Visa and Mastercard and would love to welcome you into the D-Line family at this event.

The venue will be held on November 17, 2009 at the Best Western Hotel in Milton, ON. We will have lots of displays so you can put your hands on new materials and get a good feeling for how they work.

We can’t wait to see old and new friends at this terrific day that is guaranteed to increase your revenue and inspire you to increase your current business.

WOW!!! John and I have just finished our 1st year together and it’s been GREAT!! We both want to thank all of our clients for their unbelievable support. We would also like to welcome our new Direct Line clients and promise we will continue to keep giving superior service.

Our 2nd Seminar in April was a complete “Sell Out” and in only 4 days. The feedback was fantastic and we really appreciate Bird B Gone for helping us with the speakers. It’s technical days like these that we want our clients to have access to and gain important industry knowledge at a discounted price.

We know we will never be the biggest but that’s not our goal. Our mission is to be recognized as being the industry leader in providing a wide variety of products and being able to back that up with the technical expertise to ensure that our clients are getting the most from their purchases.

So much as changed in only one year! A new web site, a blog, more extensive product lines and the new look of D-Line. The only thing that hasn’t changed is our continued drive to be the best.

We will be conducting interviews with the industries experts. Please let us know what information you would like to see and we will do our best to post a blog on it. You will also notice our “Feature Products” link. All you have to do is click on this link and you will go directly to the feature products of the month and our opinion on how they work.

John and Dean would like to sincerely thank all of the professionals that attended our recent Seminar held in Milton. Your support made the day a "larger than life" success. It's events such as these that Direct Line is committed to continuing but it's your support of our product lines and services that make events like these possible.

National Pest Management Association – Washington D.C., October 23, 2008. Dean Stanbridge gave a presentation on Mobile Technology and its use in the Pest Management Industry. The talk focused on hands on experience and manufacturing updates to equipment from manufacturers such as Motorola. Stanbridge spelled out the good and bad about the latest and greatest equipment. He told the crowd that mobile equipment has caught up to the needs of the consumers. “There’s no better time to buy handhelds, as right now!”

While at the National Convention in Washington DC with 3500 other delegates John Howlett and Dean Stanbridge had the opportunity to visit with many of their suppliers and see old friends. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our suppliers for helping us to make this company a great success.

We have lined up 4 excellent speakers to bring you “up to speed” on the latest issues and solutions for bedbugs and washroom services. The objective of the day is to not only create an educational forum but take you through these services from A-Z. By the time you leave you will be equipped to select and sell these key “add on” services. In addition, you will be prepared to handle the tough questions on bedbugs and have the equipment to do a proper job at eliminating this troublesome pest.

John Howlett, President of Direct Line Sales Corp. (D-Line), would like to welcome Dean Stanbridge to the position of V.P./Technical Director. John and Dean’s new partnership will concentrate on providing a strong technical resource to its current and future client base.

College roommates and graduates of Fleming College, they have worked closely for over two decades. Upon graduation John chose the pest control product distribution side of the business, excelling in client sales for several large Canadian companies before founding D-Line in 2000.  Dean chose the service side of the business and in 1987 founded the commercial pest services provider, Professional Pest Consultants. In 1990, Dean became Technical Director of the Steritech Group Corp., of Milton, Ontario, after The Steritech Group Inc., of Charlotte, North Carolina, opened operations in Canada.

John and Dean are very excited to be back together, concentrating on client care, education and future industry direction.
